LOW-COST SPAY AND NEUTER PROGRAMS
Love of Animals, Inc., has two programs to provide spay and neuter services for companion animals in Tulare and Kings Counties.
The first, Spay It Forward, is designed to help low-income families with the cost of spaying and neutering their dogs and cats. Individuals who are on public assistance or disability automatically qualify. Others who can demonstrate they are low income (under $3,100 per month gross family income) also qualify. A copayment of $20 is requested for each animal sterilized.
The second program is available to anyone, regardless of income, who owns a pitbull or pitbull mix. In Central California shelters, more than 25 percent of homeless animals are pits or pit mixes, and almost all of them are euthanized. Please help us work toward correcting this situation. If you, or someone you know, has a pitbull or mix that has not yet been spayed or neutered, an application can be requested at the email address below.
