Purdy was found roaming the streets in the southeastern area of Visalia. Her found information was placed in the newspaper, Craig's List, Next Door and on our FaceBook page. No one claimed her after a few days so she was started in the adoption program.

While in her foster home, she enjoyed playing fetch with toys, light rough housing, potty pad training, treat time and playing with the other foster companions. She decided that sleeping on the foot of her foster moms bed on top of the covers was her place. Really not any issues found at this point as she is just happy being part of a family.

As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.

Love of Animals will screen potential adoption parents to ensure the companion WILL NOT be a fighting dog.
