O'REILLY could be the poster boy for rescue cats everywhere. He was found by Golden West High during the torrential rains. His face and hindquarters were cut, scratched and scarred. He had a very serious wound on his left shoulder. He was defending himself everyday. He finally trusted us to feed and pat him, so in he came to our kitty room. The vet gave him a physical, his vaccinations, neutering, microchip and clean bill of health. He is a strong athletic cat who now much prefers the couch or the sunniest spot in the afternoon. He is so gentle, laid back and grateful. We think he's making up for lost time when he was hungry and alone. He still has a keen distrust of dogs but is terrific with other cats. He has had adult companionship so older children would be okay. He is an amazing, wonderful, affectionate companion. Good with cats and people.
