If you are interested, have questions, or to schedule a personal viewing for this companion only, please contact Ms. Laurie Jane Eberle, volunteer for Love of Animals, Visalia Division, Visalia, California, at 559-697-5070 or laurie@loveofanimals.org.
Suki escaped 3 times from our cattery and still not sure how she did it! So we set food and water out for her to make sure she was okay....then she learned the dog door and now she comes into the house.
Not sure if she got dropped or abused before as she really does not like to be picked up and held (may change with time with the right family/person). We can pet her and she is very curious! Was fixing some wet dog food for one of our canines and she sniffed the lid and started licking it. Before I could get back to the bowl with the food, Suki was having a field day with it. She usually finds a nice soft bed on the kitchen table where she spend most of her time when she is not hanging out in the backyard.
Recently we set a cage up in the computer room and have placed her in there. When foster parent clean cage, she goes out to stretch and then will want back into her cage. Suki loves to talk to you too!!!!
Would suggest that she be kept indoors for a few weeks after adoption to ensure bonding with new house. She has ventured into our bedroom but is scared off by our foster/personal canines. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
