Truffles had been abandoned on a farm in Orosi. The farm owners were not feeding him and were surprised the coyotes hadn't eaten him being there a couple of weeks already.

He showed signs of malnutrition and abuse (extremely submissive) loud talking would make him coward down/nervous urination. Foster family took him to their veterinarian to check for a I.D. chip (none).

Truffles began as an outside animal but over the time of being in foster care, he has learned the ins/outs of the pet door and has been housebroken. Is crate trained, filled out his boney skeleton, tail is up to show his appreciation, quiet, friendly, and loves to run (playful). Truffles is wonderful around other animals (dogs/cats). He enjoys a warm lap, smooth talking, & a gentle pat on the head.

Is neutered, Micro-chipped, Rabies vaccinated, regular vaccines given, dewormed, and frontlined.

As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
