Cowgirl is almost 7 years old, Red Dapple AKC papered Dachshund. She is strong and healthy who's very favorite thing to do is play fetch with a ball and probably win some races. We just have to call it quits after awhile because she'll keep it up even if tired out! She is good with people and other dogs. She is loving and enjoys your company but not demanding.

There is only 1 draw back with this precious girl. That being she has a tendency to dig. Being a Dachshund as well as a dog that is not uncommon but something to be considered. Would hate for her to go to a new home and dig somewhere and have the new owners not like her because of that. Digging can be controlled by training her with commands and spending time with her outdoors.

As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
