Rocko, Rocko, Rocko.....he is one big boy!!! Is a sweet heart and loves attention. He came from the vet that we use for spaying and neutering. His records can be obtained there for future vet visits.

Now how did we get Rocko??? Our Adoption Coordinator talked with the staff at South County Vet. Hospital about our Cat & Kitten Special Adoption Event and told them if there was any cats that were in need of a home that we would take them in. Rocko was one that had been there for sometime in a cage (poor big boy in an little cage). So arrangements were made and he was brought to her home where he was placed in an indoor cattery with a few others that she received too. He made himself at home on one of the shelves and got along fine with most of the others in the cattery.

Rocko will need time to adjust to his new home but the foster mom has been able to handle him right off the bat. He is in a home where there are canines plus he was around canines while at the vet’s office. As far as interacting with them, you will need to see how it will go.

It is suggested as with all feline adoptions to keep a new companion indoors for a several weeks so they become familiar with the new surroundings. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
