Shaggy was transported from the streets of Long Beach to our foster home, rather than a shelter, thanks to Bambi's Rescue. His matted fur was about 4 inches of dread locks! Shaggy has since been professionally groomed at Petco. We have before and after pictures and he looks amazing now. He is a beautiful Havanese mix, crate trained & very lovable! He gets along well with all of our animals. Shaggy is very friendly & just loves attention

Shaggy will make a great companion for an active lifestyle also, makes a great coach potato. Yes, he watches tv! He lives for his daily walks with the pack. He also does great at the dog park where he likes to bury his treats. He sleeps inside at night and patrols his territory by day. He is very happy go lucky.

As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
