Pugsley is a victim of an owner not updating their micro-chip information so he could not be returned to his family even after placing a found ad in the local newspaper. Pugsley story start like this:
Found roaming near the vet hospital in Exeter and finally caught by a woman near Pine Street and brought to the vet who in tuned scanned him and called the micro-chip company. They tried all the phone numbers and it had been changed with no update. The vet office did not want him going to a shelter and one of their clients suggested us. The adoption coordinator got the call and took a ride. A found ad was placed in the local newspaper but no one called for him.
The vet aged him about 3ish years old. He is in a foster home with other canines and gets along well. Pugsley just wants to be a lap boy and please you. He loves his foster father and spends as much time with him as possible. Does use a doggy door to go in and out at his leisure.
Are you going to make Pugsley part of your family? He hopes so because he loves his backside scratched and will be your friend forever if you scratch there.
As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
