If you are interested, have questions, or to schedule a personal viewing for this companion only, please contact Ms. Laurie Jane Eberle, volunteer for Love of Animals, Visalia Division, Visalia, California, at 559-697-5070 or laurie@loveofanimals.org.
Chimichanga "Chimi" was found near Whitendale & Akers where the person took him to Companion Animal. While there one of the vet techs took a picture of him and sent it to the current foster mom. Knowing her passion for small dogs (he appears to be a cross of a Deer and Apple Head Chihuahua), she drove over and picked him up. She ran a found ad in the VTD and on Craigslist with no one claiming him.
Chimi is a love bug who will curl up and be content with you holding him and loving on him. He blended in very fast at his new foster home and picked up using the dog door right away. He spends his time curled up on the couch on a dog bed or laying on his foster mom’s bed. You will notice at times he does have a under bite and makes him look even more adorable.
As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
