My name is Star, I'm a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix.  I came into the love of animals organization because my owner past away, and I had four puppies.  I was a young mother so I'm very playful.  I like to take cat naps on your feet and be around you most of the time.  I'm a little shy at first but warm up quickly especially if you have treats for me.

As with any new companion, it is wise to spend good quality time with them and let them explore their new surrounding while you set the boundaries. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
