|
Kiki was a stray cat in a Tulare neighborhood. She and her three-day-old kittens were rescued and have been living with a Love of Animals board member ever since. Kiki is a sweet, very easy-going, sociable young lady who did an excellent job raising six lively kittens (who are currently available for adoption) and now deserves some well-earned leisure as someone’s loving companion. She was very protective of her babies and is still a little suspicious of other cats. No dogs, please – her last litter was killed by a dog.

It is suggested as with all feline adoptions to keep a new companion indoors for a several weeks so they become familiar with the new surroundings. It is also good to make sure they have a "special" area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
